About Us
We saw our first Giant while on vacation at Lake Canadohta in 1998. There he was standing at the bow of a boat majestic and statuesque.
We did a lot of research, to make sure this was the correct breed for our life style as this is a serious commitment. We found that Giants are intelligent, naturally protective, strong-minded, versatile workers, active, loving & loyal. Giants require a lot of socialization both with people & dogs. Obedience classes are a must; the classes will be a great experience for you & your family.
We think that the goal of any breeder should be " Quality not Quantity". Each breed has specific health concerns, please check to make sure any breeder you choose is doing the necessary testing. Though we have no litters now. Our goal is to have healthy puppies both physically & mentally. As perspective dog owners make sure you are ready for a new addition to your family.
Too the chagrin of our Giants the alpha & Queen of our family is Miss Crickett. Crickett is a 15-year-old Yorkie. Smart, bossy, loving & demanding. When Miss Crickett barks dogs & humans better pay attention. You will also see photos of "Cody" who recently got his "Angel Wings" he is greatly missed. "Cody" will always be in our hearts & part of our family.
We brought home "Kismet" the first Giant of Absolute Acres in January of 2001. Kismet definitely enjoys life, confident, a lot of working drive, strong minded & a clown. Please visit Kismet's page to see our accomplishments.
The 1st Lady of our Giant family is Miss DeeDee. Miss DeeDee was a surprise Christmas present 2002. Talk about a couch potato, she is the perfect dog till she is outside. She turns into a swimming fool, a Frisbee nut, then will go in roll in the mud or whatever other nasty thing she can find, tail wagging the entire time. Absolute's Tall, Dark & Handsome "Rhett", has certainly lived up to his name. Rhett's Dam is DeeDee & Sire is Ch. Kenro's Man of the Hour, UDX"Bravo". He also has 2 sisters Kenro's Rave Review & Ch. Kenro's Happy Hour. Rhett is a promising young man, smart, out going, loves kids. We have been working in obedience & conformation; hopefully we will be ready to start showing soon. Born in 2005 Rhett has some accomplishment under his collar already, so don't forget Rhett's page.
